See, I'm writing a horror story for the first time, I know books would probably be better for me but I really can't focus on a book for too long) so I need some ideas for horror. I was thinking about going out tonight or tommorow and renting a couple horror flicks to see what other script-writers have come up with. I need something with an ending that will leave the audience in chills. Mine involves ghosts and the main character going insane. I'm not sure how to give enough details to help you recommend, but anything really would help.. Movies I have already seen: The Ring/Ringu The Grudge/Ju-On Sleepy Hollow ...and I think that's it. Sad eh? Well, help me if you can... ![]() |

Despite the cheesy acting, and effects, some of them actually have quite good scripts. If you're only looking for twist endings, I'd get a Twilight Zone DVD box set. edit: And whatever you do, DON'T use the "It was all a dream... Or WAS it?" ending. That's been overused to death. However, at the end, [SPOILERS!] the manual is revealed to be... a cookbook (To Serve Man... Get it?). [/SPOILERS!] |
