You have to admit that it was bold of Lion's Gate to even think of releasing such a graphic poster.

It was also pretty bold of them to make a second Saw.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

I wouldn't really call that such a graphic poster but I can DEFINITLEY see their reasons for banning that.

Saw 2? I suppose I'll see it. Unless the trailers for it suck.

Actually, there is one trailer (teaser) out already, involving what appears to be a fellow with a key inside his head - behind the eyeball, methinks - and an apparatus affixed to his neck which appears to be a sort of waffle iron for skulls.

Ehh, even Alfred Hitchcock's films had bad trailers. That's not much to base your decision on.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

^ Yeah, trailers are really just used to get people to see movies and, more often than not, all the best parts are put into them.

That's kinda the exact opposite of what I was saying, but okay.

Some of the best movies ever made had lousy trailers.

On topic, that poster is awesome.

Hitchcock sucks, and so do most of the movies from the era. Lousy/rushed acting, underdeveloped cinematography, and poor sound recording techniques be the culprit.

And Scripture's description sounds pretty wicked.

I've only seen one Hitchcock (Psycho), but I didn't think it was badly directed.

I saw the trailer at Yahoo and, from the looks of things, this film takes more of slasher movie path (Jigsaw has captured a group of people and they have to find a poison antidote somewhere in a boobytrapped house)

Hitchcock kicks the **** out of most modern thrillers.

Saw it (no pun desired or intended) - pretty good stuff. Notably different in presentation from the original.. Definitely lacked the whole "who is the killer/psycho" element, since the first one gave that away at the end. All the same, rather nice.
