| I am the God of Vengeance...I am Joker the Vampire Lord Join Date: Apr 2000 Location: The Planet of Eternal Darkness Gender: Posts: 10,242 Thanks: 2,509 Thanked 326 Times in 223 Posts | I was sitting here at my desk, thinking about the upcoming movie "Narnia : The lion the witch and the wardrobe" and if it does as well at the box office as is expected, the world of fantasy should be able to take a broader approach in Hollywood, with material not as commercialy popular as the LotR & LtW series. As long as credible directors can attach themselves to the projects I would love to see some other great stories of this type and genre break free of literary constraints. One word comes to mind "Moorcock!!!!" Having finished The Bane of the Black Sword and Stormbringer....I can only imagine what a movie based on these fine literary works would yeild, if placed in the hands of a capable director. How about you guys, any good books that you wish would be turned into a moive?? |

And Then There Were None (I want a good one.) Chain Letter Chain Letter 2: The Ancient Evil Please Remove Your Elbow from My Ear The Long Sandy Hair of Neftoon Zamora Revelation (yes, that Revelation) And maybe Animorphs, but that's one that I REALLY don't want to see messed up. And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!" |

COOOOOOOOOOOOOONAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!!! I swwear to God, CONAN THE KING! CONAN III! A MOVIE THAT REDEEMS UNIVERSAL FOR CONAN THE DESTROYER (which was insulting, insulting, insulting). BETWEEN DA TIMES WHEN DA OCEANS DRANK ATLANTIS... AND THE RIIIIIIISE OF THE SONS OF ARYAS... Seriously. Conan the Barbarian was awesome. There must be a sequel, directed by John Milius (and not some random ****ing comic book writers). |
