^ even then you only get to see him do that real quick just as it pans away, and it happens in the distance so it's a little hard to tell what's going on until afer it's done, but the character he does it to deserves it. so

yes it's satisfying to know that the truely wicked (the cult of witch hunters) are punished in a very fitting manner!

it was one af the few game to movie flicks that was actually good. there is things that I would have done differently but for the most part it was nicely doen. and for the gore thing, well Silent Hill was never a game that focused on horror, it was all about the atmosphere.
