Still, the budget for this film was just $35 million. As such, if it keeps performing like it has, it will probably break even by the end of the month. |

It's one of those "it's so cheesy it's good movies." I found it interesting that the first few snake attacks seemed to have been played (mostly) for laughs before full chaos ensued about 15 minutes later. I could really tell that this film was a PG-13 edited into an R. Most of the gore and language was done in extreme close-ups (with a few offscreen F-words being obviously dubbed in). Even the infamous "Motherf&%$ing Snakes on the Motherf&%$ing Plane" line, which they have been playing on the radio (with, of course, the F-words bleeped) all weekend, seemed a little out of context with the scene that it's in. However, all that aside, it was a fun film. |
