Scary Movie 4

The trailer for Scary Movie 4 (which opens on April 15) is now online at http://movies.yahoo.com/feature/scarymovie4.html

Here is what I think: By using more "goofy slapstick" humour in Scary Movie 3, David Zucker actually managed to bring the series back to life after Scary Movie 2 featured too much crude humour, too little laughs (when the funniest scene was in the first 5 minutes, you know you're in trouble). This films looks to be more of the same.

According to the trailer, this film's central parody will be War of the Worlds (which was more sci-fi thriller than horror film) with scenes parodying The Grudge, Saw, & The Village.

Check it out.

YES! Did the Wayan's work on this too? If not, then screw it, it just wasn't funny without them.

DR.PHIL!?
Well, they did have Michael Jackson in 3...

I'm kinda excited to see how this one turns out...the previews made the movie seem like it will get a few laughs...I just hope that they didn't show the only funny parts in the trailer

I do know one thing, it will be funnier than Date Movie (heck, the two-minute trailer, which played beforehand, was funnier than Date Movie)

ive been lookin forward to this since i found out about it a couple months ago but i refuse to watch any trailers, (i absolutley hate anything being spoiled in a movie.) or comercials, (i don't ever watch tv, HA!) im really looking forward to it because war of the worlds was decent and im a huge saw fanatic and the third one did a really good job of direct parodizing the originals it was based on, didn't hear about the grudge part but i'll be happy to see that thing get hacked apart since it was the defenition of a ridiculous movie that seemed to be the start of a bandwagon, with a little push off from the ring. (just a bunch of ridiculous events that don't come near scary that are supposedly well plotted out by some mastermind director with tons of hidin meaning that just definatley isn't here.) so umm yay.
