| Join Date: Nov 2001 Location: Toronto, ON, Canada Gender: Posts: 3,350 Thanks: 9 Thanked 45 Times in 35 Posts | Another Oscars in the Books If you don't know, the major winners are: Best Picture - Crash Best Director - Ang Lee Best Actor - Philip Seymour Hoffman Best Actress - Reese Witherspoon Best Supporting Actor - George Clooney Best Supporting Actress - Rachel Weisz Original Screenplay - Crash Adapted Screenplay - Brokeback Mountain The only real surprise here was Crash winning best picture, after all the hype over Brokeback Mountain. Then again, I personally liked Crash better than Brokeback, so it may not be that much of a surprise after all. Well, it's late, so I will be heading to bed and let you discuss the results. |
