Well, for that specific movie, I was watching it with all my classmates as part of some sort of field trip, so there was a lot of excitement. But that's not the only time I've been in a theater where there was applause. It also happened with Spider-Man 2, Batman Begins, Star Wars Episode III, and some others.

Koga, the people involved do find out when audiences applaud their films, whether they're in the theater or from the theater staffs. Sometimes a work of art just moves a person to clap.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

I applaud for the people who have put effort into it, even when I don't particularly like a work of art. I still sincerely doubt actors/directors (or even crew members) wonder whether their movie gets an applause.

Of course premieres or movie festivals are a different matter.

I've only had people kick the backs of my seat, but I tend to get my own back.

I've never really had any problems with people in theaters. The only time people ever shouted at the screen, moved around, etc., was when I saw Stay Alive.

And that actually made the movie better. Especially when everybody started clapping towards the end when Frankie Muniz and the blonde girl showed up again. It was kinda cool.

Only time I cut up is during comedies, it can be fun if everyone is doing it together.

We went to see ATL last Saturday, and about 99% of us were just makin jokes as the movie went on, God it was so much fun.

I hate to say it, but it's true, it's mainly black teenagers or teenage girls, after that, teenagers in general, I admit I've done it, and it can be fun. But the more you tell them the shut up, the more they cut up. So either leave and jump into another presentation of it, or deal with it.

Well, I know in Madea's family Reunion

SPOILER FOR THOSE WHO PLAN ON SEEING IT

After the girl that's being abused by her husband takes Madea's advice and stands up to him, she throws the hot grits in his face, and half the theater stood and applauded. Basically because of what she did, you sometimes get into a movie so mcuh that you appluad a scene.

Thanks for reminding me of the Grudge.

When I saw the Grudge, there were these sluts in the theare ( No, I'm not flinging insults here. They were dressed EXACTLY like sluts. ) that screamed as if they were being murdered every time something jumped out at the crowd.

Exclamation

when I went to see Cry_Wolf these two girls were sitting on either side of me texting each other, and their tones for sending and recieving messages were at the loudest they could be. I eventually just took their cells and chucked 'em at the screen!

I know how you feel, my mom talks to the tele herself!
Some of my favorite lines:

No, don't go in there
mom, he can't hear you
I know that, but he still shouldn't!

I can't believe it, you killed Qui-gon, you (insert random pokemon for added effect)

Son, is he dead yet?
no, now watch the movie
But he's twitching

Other than that, mothers' who bring their newborns is okay, as long as there is no jerk yelling at the poor woman to shut her kid up. It makes me just wanna throw something at them. Also, at the end of star wars 3, everyone clapped & some1 yelled author
