For my birthday, on Monday, I got King Kong and today I decided to purchase both Meet the Parents and Meet the Fockers (don't ask why I decided to get them now -- they were on sale)

'Legend of Zorro' is the only one most people will have heard of--the rest are obscure kung-fu/samurai movies with names like 'Hell's Windstaff', 'Sword of the Beast', and 'Shaolin vs. Evil Dead', which I snatch up like a magpie the second I see them.

^Wahay! I was on the verge of buying 'Seventh Seal' at Borders yesterday, but then I saw they finally got Melville's 'Le Samourai', and I got that instead. (Fantastic film, by the way--it's the film that inspired the excellent 'Ghost Dog' a couple years ago. I highly recommend both of them.)

The entire Matrix trilogy. The first one was a masterpiece, but the other two weren't so great. I want to get my hands on Donnie Darko, but I can't find it anywhere.

This was the first DVD I bought. When I bought it (in August 2002) it was nearly $50 CND and was pretty rare. Nowadays, I can easily find it for about $13 (the directors cut -- which I got last year for my birthday BTW -- may be a bit rarer/expensive)

We got Donnie Darko coming out the ying-yang down here. I personally think I overpayed for it; $20 for the director's cut of a movie I didn't even like that much.
