However, I won't go off a limb and say it's good either. The plot was split in two, which didn't help the movie, since I'd prefer to see scenes with Anna Farris (the main character) than scenes with Craig Bierko (the fake Tom Cruise -- in fact I could probably go as far to say that Bierko was the worst part about the movie). Also, 4 supporting characters from Scary Movie 3 return in small roles. Only 1 of them (maybe 2) had an significance (in fact, Leslie Neilson's president could have been removed from the film and it would have made no difference). Something that has been constant with the Scary Movie films is a very funny openning scene (in this case, a Saw parody with Shaquille O'Neal and Dr. Phil) Overall the movie was fair. |
