I really wish they had tried to put in a good substitute for Starscream's voice actor. Him and Megatron actually have an argument would have increased the geek factor in that movie more than anything short of Optimus Prime killing every Decepticon except for Megs. |

The lack of dialogue for the decepticons was one of my biggest disappointments as well. |

He was channeling Frank Welker, to an eerie degree - if he had tried to do his Agent Smith or V voice, that would have come across instead. His voice was no more heavily processed than was Orson Welles' back in the original movie. The other Decepticons aren't really that interesting to start with - at least, none who were in the movie. Brawl doesn't work without the other Combaticons, Barricade is just boring anyway, Bonecrusher needs other Constructicons, on and on. This movie chiefly just called for more Starscream. The sequel is supposed to feature Soundwave pretty heavily, though, which should be great. |

It's funny that you would say that, since none of the voice actors are listed in the main cast. Weaving's credit is actually close to the end of the cast list during the credits (and people who are leaving would miss it). Last edited by Sean P Kelly; 07-14-2007 at 09:56 PM. Incidentally, he also voiced Cow, Chicken, the Red Guy and I.R. Baboon. |
