ok...since you guys OBVIOUSLY don't get what i'm saying...here's a direct quote from an article released shortly after the film was released.

"The microphones used to pick up the voices of the actors are visible throughout the movie. Sometimes only the tip or body are visible; however, in the scene where Ms.Thorn calls out to the nanny, the entire microphone is clearly visible behind her."

Some theaters had the problem, and some didn't. If it was the film's problem, every theater would have it. It was the theater's problem.

The film's only problem was being a cruddy remake of a movie that didn't need remaking.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

I've seen the older movies of the omen but I'm probably not going to see the new one.

Because most of the stuff on IMDB is user-submitted, you should take that as a single person's experience (which may or may not be later debunked by someone else).

Please, stop trying to argue with CaptHayfever, who obviously knows more about film projection than you do.

EDIT: I take this comment back (sort of). I was reading through that thread and it seems that this boom mic problem is too widespread to be solely the projectionists fault. I agree with some of the comments that it's probably also the result of rushed editing

What I'm saying is that if it was the actual movie, it would be happening in every theater. Maybe it's a combination of some bad projectionists and some mislabled instructions and some bad prints, but clearly not all of them have the problem.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

i get ya....but it's either a LOT of bad projectionests or a LOT of theaters getting bad prints....how do you know not all theaters had the problem? I myself experienced a bad print i guess since i noticed the mic...what about you capthayfever?

go see the movie and you'll see what i mean...it's kinda hard to avoid that when setting up the projection ratio.
