Gender: Posts: 1,935 Thanks: 5 Thanked 7 Times in 4 Posts | Just the other day, during programming class, we had nothing much planned for that day, so we watched this movie called "The Corporation." It talked all about the system and such, but then they used the example of this particular corporation named Monsanto. Apparently, Monsanto makes bovine growth hormones called Posilac, which are then sold to farmers who produce milk. The chemcials are administered to the cows to cause them to produce more milk, but it diseases their utters in the process, causing cow pus to fall into the milk while they are being milked. It's pretty disgusting to think about, seeing as how the movie claims that 1/3rd of the milk from the United States comes from products made by Monsanto. As interesting as it was, though, it seemed like a propaganda movie, considering they didn't show much from the side of Monsanto themselves. Nevertheless, unless it's organic, I'll never look at milk the same. |

From what they say it appears to actually be coherent, which many left-wing docs simply aren't. |
