Thumbs up An Inconvenient Truth

Out of curiosity (and the fact that I had nothing else to do), I went to see the much-hyped documentary about Al Gore and Global Warming.

I found it quite good. It's not really as alarmist as the trailers and posters lead you to believe, but it does give a pretty convincing look at the effects that global warming has had on the Earth (both in the present, and what may happen in the future).

Also Al Gore uses quite a bit of humour in his lecture (such as using a clip from Futurama to better explain what exactly Global Warming is).

Whether you agree or disagree with a arguments being made, this is definitely recommended viewing.

(Note: Please keep all replies pertaining to the film itself. Any posts about your thoughts on Global Warming should probably go here)

I don't know what to think about Global warming... But I think it needs to be checked out though.

Here's a neat Futuramaish trailer for the film.

The movie is pretty convincing. Snowy areas of the earth don't melt and lakes don't dry up for no reason you know.

However, if you really want my opinion, I think the do something now or your doomed stance is slightly exaggerated.
