Direct-To-Video Sequels

There seems to be a steady increase in direct-to-video sequels and not just for Disney movies.

I was looking at upcoming DVD releases an some Augest releases caught my eye.

First there is Bring It On - All or Nothing, which is actually the second direct-to-video sequel to that film.

More surprising is, I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer.

I guess studios will do anything for a quick buck.

Fun Fact: Most Disney Direct-to-video-sequels, such as Toy Story 2, were made for theaters, but due to budget, had to go direct-to-video.

This ist a disney movie but To Fast To Furious 3 is comein out also. It looks pretty good but None of them will ever top the first one.

I am very angry that they decided to make The Sandlot 2. A blessing it went straight to video.

^ If you honestly believed that this film was even considered for theatrical release, you need your head examined.

For the most part, direct-to-video sequels are just cheaply-made marketing ploys to make some extra money off the success of previous releases.
