Giggity. Though I love the live-action movies, the new CGI gives it a pretty sleek, cool feel. Plus you can do things you wouldn't be able to do with Live Action.

Yeah, looks pretty promising. Only complaint about the CGI is more a criticism of the style - their eyes are a bit too wide-set. </TMNTnerdspeak>

Does anyone else miss the sense of humor the original series had? Way better than any of the newer versions.

Go ninja, go ninja, go. T-U-R-T-L-E power.

And remember, "I'm-a Donatello, number one!"

Well the cartoon had humour, but the original comics were really quite dark (you can read the first two issues for free at the Ninja Turtles website).

When the CGI Ninja Turtles movie was in the rumour stage, there was rumours that it would go back to the darkness of the comics. However, from the looks of it, it looks like there will still be humour (at least concerning Michaelangelo).

Don't have to tell me, I used to buy as many as I could get my hands on. They were dark, but only for a while. It branched off into the Mighty Mutanimals, and was just pretty crazy. I remember characters like Ninjara and the Stingray guy pretty well, from all that.
