torchwood.

Did anyone else watch the first episode on BBC three?
For those of you that don't know, torchwood is a spinoff of the new doctor who on british TV. It revolves around the adventures of captain Jack Hearknes (spelling unknown), in the torchwood organization, based in my home city of Cardiff.

I sure it was Jack Hawkings.

Anyway, I tend not to watch BBC3. Apparently it's on BBC 2 tomorrow night. So I'll watch it then.

Was it any good?

pretty good, a lot more mature and violent than Doctor who, and a little more disturbing at times. e.g. there was one alien called a weevil that bit a hospital worker's neck open enough for blood to shoot out like a fountain, and in the second episode there is an alien parasite that kills through sex.

That would explain why it's on at 9 pm tonight.

apparently the ratings for the episode were so high that they were only beaten by a single episode of friends in 2000. Obviously T3h Pr0n brought on the pervs.

The second episode has just finnished on BBC two. It was alright.

Although I wish they explained how Capt. Jack got from Station 5 (I think it was), back to earth.

hopefully they'll do that soon. Another question that needs an answer is why WE'RE THE ONLY TWO PEOPLE WHO'VE POSTED IN THIS F*CKING TOPIC! I know there are more than just two people on VGF from Britain.

Maybe they don't watch Torchwood.

I liked on the first one, when he says only the right Doctor could tell him what happened to him.
