I personally think the media was overblowing the violence in the film. The graphic sacrifice scene everyone is talking about takes up only a very short part of the film (I would say 5 minutes at the most) and the most graphic parts are off camera. Heck, I've seen a more graphic heart removal in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. I should also note, that you forget the film isn't in English (a sign of a good foreign language film). I would say the film is worth checking out. |
