Primeval - The ulimate example in misleading advertising

Watch the trailer for this film (and look at the poster) and try to guess what this film is about.

Now look in the spoiler text for the plot outline:
Spoiler Below

After a news team is dispatched to South Africa to capture and bring home a legendary 25-foot crocodile known as Gustave, their task proves to be more difficult than they anticipated and becomes potentially deadly when a warlord seeks to kill them.

If both match, you haven't been fooled by the film's trick marketing.

Trailer said: Nonhuman serial killer. Probably a normal animal, considering how the attack shots were filmed.
Plot outline said: Texas Chainsaw/Wrong Turn/etc., just set in Africa and with a croc as the Macguffin.

My point exactly.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

You know, I kind of missed the second half of that plot outline when I pasted it. Kind of screws up my point.

No, you're still right; the trailer is about being hunted by a vicious animal of unknown origin, but the plot outline is about being hunted by a lunatic while trying to catch a known vicious animal.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"
