Excellent Movie Moments

One of my favorite movie moments is in Jurassic Park. Dr. Grant is leading the kids up to a fence. He throws a stick at it, saying "I guess the power's off." So, he walks up to it, grabs the wires, and starts shaking and screaming. Of course, the kids think he's getting electrocuted. Then, he stops, and turns back towards the kid with the most exquisite look of "Gotcha!" on his face. I think little Timmy's line afterwards sums up my emotions.

In Naruto Kabuto is talking about Tsunade. Here are his thoughts

So Strong...
So Scary...
I bet she's single.

For some reason I wound his train of thought highly amusing.

'Enter the Dragon'--Bruce Lee and Han are fighting right before they enter the hall of mirrors at the end, and Bruce does a crazy karate yell and delivers a terrifying kick to Han. I don't know if it was a stuntman or a fake body, or if they sped up the shot, but the kick causes the kickee to fly right on out of the shot like a kick-ball. I watched 'Enter the Dragon' with a friend the other day, and we had to back up and watch the kick about five times, he was laughing so hard.

It happens right around 4:50 in the video. (Incidentally, the rest of the fight is pretty bad-ass, too.)

Another great moment is in Romero's Day of the Dead, when Rhodes is running from Bub. He shouts, "Come on!" as he turns to open a door. Whoo! There are zombies on the other side. Rhodes screams and turns around just in time for the lovable zombie Bub to shoot him one last time. As Rhodes falls to the ground and is devoured by the ravenous undead, Bub lowers the gun, stands straight, and gives the army officer a salute.

Dear God, that right there is reason enough to love Day of the Dead.
