I need some Ideas

I have to make a speech and I chose to do mine on movies. I don't have much info though. Only the first sequel ever made, first movie ever made which lasted 2 secends, and the camera that made the first movie which was the Le Prince single lens camera. So I need some ideas of what to add to this. And don't say go to Google because I have and it sucks.

Movies is a pretty broad subject. Can you be more specific about what this speech is about?

Titanic is the highest lifetime grossing film in the U.S. and Canada, followed by Star Wars Episode IV, Shrek 2, and E.T.

Titanic is the highest lifetime grossing film everywhere in the world, followed by LoTR: Return of the King, PotC: Dead Man's Chest, and Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's/Philosopher's Stone.

The film Zyzzyx Road only made $30 in the box office. You can read more about that in this week's Entertainment Weekly.

If this is a free-topic speech, you really, really need to narrow down your scope. It sounds like you're doing something about the history of movies; why not talk about the socio-political impact that motion pictures brought upon the lower-middle class?

Yeah this is basically History on Movies. Uh how do you pronounce Zyzzyx? And I also want to know the first prequel ever made. Google didn't help.

^ If you want to include stuff like "the first prequel", don't bother. It's an insult to film students like me.

Real film history deals with the various eras of film, such as early cinema, classical hollywood cinema, french new wave, etc

Waterworld was a terrible loss in the domestic market, but apparently made enough money overseas to about break even. Wikipedia has a bunch about anything you desire.
