There's no need for any more. This is the one - everything that came before it is hereby obsolete. And yeah, it was actually good. |

I was wanting to see it in IMAX, but the only available screenings were in a theatre in Woodbridge (a town just north of Toronto) and I (or my cousin, who I'm going with), don't have access to a car (actually my cousin doesn't have access, I don't drive period) |

I liked Sin City a lot better (though I don't know whether you should compare them only because they're both based on Frank Miller graphic novels). It was much better than Troy and Kingdom of Heaven, though. I didn't even bother to watch Alexander. |

I'll withhold judgment until I've watched it. But yeah - Sin City is the only movie that begins to compare to 300 in terms of manliness, and even it loses. |

| Song 2 : Whoo Hoo | How can something with that much CGI be considered manly at all? I'll judge for myself when I see it. But right now I'm guessing none of you have seen a little movie called Hard Boiled. Last edited by Bomby; 03-21-2007 at 11:18 PM. |

Gender: Posts: 55 Thanks: 2 Thanked 1 Time in 1 Post | I demand you people provide me with the 20 dollars it will take for me to get to see this movie. And yes, I added a little extra in for popcorn. Actually, I heard this movie was freakin' EXCELLENT. Was it close to the actual true story, or did it slip from that? |

My boyfriend really liked it, as did the guy we went to see it with. Hehe, when we left, the people sitting next to us asked me "Did they really have orcs back then? |

Really awesome movie! BTW to the poster that said it makes up for what was wrong with alexander, check out alexander revisited, totally revamped version of alexander that I think makes up for the theatrical edition in spades. |

And as to why they looked like Orcs, it's a narrative device. The entire movie was told by the one survivor, so the film (and Graphic Novel) took on a larger than life aspect and look to the Persians. | |
