| Song 2 : Whoo Hoo | Tarantino pros and cons. Pro: His movies never fail to be enjoyable. Con: He plagiarizes a lot from older movies. Pro: He actually acknowledges his influences. Con: His fanboys are ANNOYING. Pro: He brought Hero, Chungking Express, and countless other fine Asian films to America, usually uncut and unedited. Con: Some of the movies he brought actually were cut and edited. (but we can blame the Weinsteins for that) Pro: His dialogue is genius, along with his use of music. Con: He gets credit for inventing techniques he didn't invent. Pro: He is an inspiring figure for wannabe independent filmmakers. Con: He's an *******. Or so I've heard. |

As you say he acknowledges his sources (even though most of his fans, including myself, haven't seen most movies that he references), he gives it his own twists, and it always fits the movie. He doesn't use a certain technique or story telling device just for the sake of using it. Come to think of it, that was your only con that was directly aimed at Tarantino. Well, that and the last one, which is a matter of opinion, I guess. I do know that in interviews he can be pretty annoying (alright?), and that he's much better behind a camera than in front of it. |

| Song 2 : Whoo Hoo | The point isn't about the dialogue being realistic - it's about it being entertaining, which it more than excels at. |

| Song 2 : Whoo Hoo | And all his men are complete smartasses. Actually some of the female characters in Death Proof actually acted feminine. Minus the Zatoichi references. |
