I like comedy, when it's actual comedy, and not some movie with some random poop jokes dumped in. Sci-Fi is my second choice.

I really don't care at all about genre. I like movies in all genres.

Comedy and Drama technically aren't "genres," per se. At least according to my film teacher.

I like movies of all genres, but I do have a fondness for Martial Arts, Jidaigeki, Crime, and Spaghetti Western films. Also, Wong Kar Wai's romance movies are spectacular.

I like to picture comedy, drama, and action as Categories, and then there are subcategories. i.e. Spaceballs = Category: Comedy; Subcategory: Science Fiction/Parody

Rush Hour = Category: Action/Comedy; Subcategory: Crime/A little bit of Martial Arts

I consider Comic Book and Video Game, along with Sports to be subcategories.

A 'genre' is a set of standards. Notice its similarity to the word "generic."
