C+. Not as good as the last two movies, but I liked it better than the Chamber of Secrets. As long as they keep the cast for all the books, the series will remain solid and won't dip below the C range.

I think they missed out on some of the character development though, and I think they really trimmed out a bit too much of the interactions in favor of almost montages to get the points across.

Lurch, I actually thought Chamber was the best after Goblet. The third movie was really bad I thought (mainly because the third book was always my favorite until the fifth came out). The first movie was, well I like seeing Alan Rickman's Snape a lot.

Like I said, the main problem with this movie is that they rushed it too much. I knew they had to rush it some, but this was rushed way too much. -CSM

CSM - what're you, high? Emma Watson is a beautiful girl, and when she's older she'll be a beautiful woman. And she captures Hermione more or less perfectly.

Man, that's like going out of your way specifically to disagree with what's staring you in the face.

A lot of people think Emma is just hot. The truth is, I don't really like Emma or Dan as actors, mainly because I've seen them in interviews and they're not very happy about this anymore. Rupert is the fanatic of the bunch. Rupert is good. Rupert cares.

And there's also the fact that Emma has been photoshopped into porn things because she's so visible. If she can pass the test of not going to Hollywood and releasing a crap album, I'll be in love with Emma.

I also think the people who play Ginny, Fleur, and Luna are much prettier anyway. Let's get the focus away from Dan Rupert and Emma and towards these actresses and Alan Rickman, Emma Thompson, Dame Maggie Smith, and Gary Oldman (who is probably my favorite actor in the movies; Maggie Smith is my favorite actress).

But Rupert is REALLY good. -CSM

That has nothing to do with Emma being pretty, which she is.

I know they can't all be kept, but I miss the side-plots. They give the characters depth as well as interaction with other characters.

Back on topic we go.... I should create an is-Emma-Watson-hot debate topic at some point.

I miss Quidditch. If there's anything that kept me going through Harry Potter, it was the game of Quidditch. Now we didn't get that in the movie, despite the fact that it was the point of a whole educational decree in the book. -CSM

I'm not saying there's anything sexually attractive (or "hot") about Emma Watson, I'm saying she's about as far from ugly as you can get. Which is still true.

Yeah a whole educational decree that kept Harry from playing.

Wyborn, you know the way I like to exaggerate things. I admit it's a crappy way to exaggerate things, but unfortunately it's the way I do it. I have to work on it, I admit it. Think of Emma Watson like FFVII. I say FFVII is a bad game, even though it isn't, because of its hordes of fanboys. Emma's like that. I only say she's ugly because so many morons think she's hot.

About that decree: The decree happened after the annual Gryphondor/Slitherin Quidditch game. -CSM

^And they left out the whole "Weasly is our King" and Ron being Quidditch Keeper - but, I suppose they had to leave some stuff out.

^^They could've left out the scene that had Harry and Cho snogging under the mistletoe. -CSM

Nope, gotta put the kissing in, but not the emotional rollercoaster after it.
At least the innuendo is still there. "How was it?" "It was wet!"

Only one word sums up how I feel about this movie after having wasted nearly two hours of my life watching it at an IMAX theater..... EXPELIAMUS!! (sp?)
