| I saved Latin! What did you ever do? | South Korea is next. Hong Kong films have had a cult following in US since the 1970's, but after a crisis in their industry during the mid-90's, with many of their most talented filmmakers relocating to Hollywood, their output has died down a bit. With the recent success of Bong Joon-Ho's The Host, Park Chan-Wook's sizable stateside following, and not to mention the fact that Musa actually got a respectable release, I'm making the prediction that South Korea will be the next Hong Kong. That's not to say that Hong Kong, which is still the world's third largest film industry behind Bollywood and Hollywood, will suddenly cease to be popular. However, with a continually crumbling movie industry, its popularity worldwide will begin to wane, and fans of Asian cinema will continue to turn toward South Korea more and more for entertainment. |

| I saved Latin! What did you ever do? | If you liked Oldboy, I'd definitely reccomend (Sympathy for) Lady Vengeance. |
