this, though I think marvle's going for their bigger names like thor and Cap, and the other avengers so that they can do their avengers movie and get it out of the way before getting to deadpool and the other heroes. I'll tell you this much it will be a long time before they get to sub-marriner unless they put him in the next fantastic 4 movie. also, when are they gonna do a Nick fury movie since they've pretty much established that S.H.I.E.L.D. has been established in the marvel movieverse.

however if DC actually gets their **** together and makes another superman movie I want to see supes actually fighting a super villain like braniac or darkside or doomsday so we can get an exciting fight scene out of it instead of some stupid kryptonite plot again. yeah luther is his arch nemesis but superman does have super powered enemies too you know, hell bizaro would be better than another kryptonite story.

but back to avengers, who's going to be the villain, it would have to be some really big world threatening evil like galactus or onslaught or someone on that level for avengers to get involved.

I feel exactly the same way about Warner Brothers owned DC. They need to make another Superman with some actual action/fight scenes in it. From what I hear the script that they were working on before the strike happend was going to include brainiac. For now it seems that the movie might be pulled out of limbo and begin casting by 2009. If antything I'm hoping they will include him in the Justice League movie that's being planned.

Also as a side note I'm waiting nervously to see what they do with the Green Lantern Movie.

Or hey, we could get a cinematic version of Watchmen, or Kingdom Come, or We3! Or wait, we'll never be graced with the latter two and I can't help but doubt what will become of the first.
