Then of course there's Alan Moore, who has become so disgruntled with film adaptations of his comics (even good ones like V for Vendetta) that he now refuses to be credited. At least the characters looks the same. Comic Version: ![]() Movie Version (on Entertainment Weekly cover): ![]() Last edited by Sean P Kelly; 07-21-2008 at 12:52 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

This film is probably the first big film of the year, and it's also the currently the most troubled film of the year. Here is an open letter from one of the producer's about said troubles. |

The consensus among people who've read the graphic novel, however, is that it will have to be like 9 hours long to fit in everything necessary. Personally, I'm not too picky about adaptations deviating from their source. An adaptation is a separate work from its source. |

I already pre-ordered my IMAX tickets. Sadly, because I had to sync schedules with my cousin, who's coming with me (along with an entourage of 4 other people), I won't be seeing the film until the 10th, but I'm still looking forward to it. |

I can't afford to miss the Oshima series going on at the Cinematheque for this. |

I didn't think Watchmen was that interesting, even though it was actually kind of cool to have superheroes who didn't have superpowers instead of just one or two like Batman who just compensates for having a bat-everything. ...oh wait a sec...*looks at Manhattan* |
