Friday the 13th

So, I saw the new Friday the 13th film (on Friday the 13th even).

It was quite good in terms of horror films. A big plus for the film is that they went the reboot route instead of the remake route. As such, even though there are many references to the first three films (including the fact that Jason starts off wearing a sheet on his head), the story itself is an original creation.

I wanna see it pretty bad, but im not gonna be able to get to a theatre soon cuzz im going to to many concerts, so im not gonna get the car as much. but as soon as i do im gonna go see it.

I've been watching the old films OnDemand.

I wasn't too crazy about the first two film's reliance on POV shots. However, the third film was OK.

Weren't the first Friday the 13th movies just about Jason's mother?

^ The first one was. Jason debuted in Part 2 (albeit with a sheet on his head) and got the hockey mask in Part 3.

I'm looking forward to seeing Part 4, since it's supposed to be the best of the series.
