What are good movies that are based around dialogue? For example Clerks is a dialogue

The movies dont need to be similar to Clerks, but that is an example of a dialogue movie.

I don't think I've seen many.

I remember Death Proof had a lot of boring chatter before anything interesting happened.

Dialogue-heavy movies?

'The Lion in Winter' is good.

^^^ All Tarantino movies have good dialogue (though I've not seen Deathproof) regardless of what you think of the overall movie. Say what you like about Inglorious but the first scene is superbly intense thanks to great dialogue and delivery.

Definitely agreed about Tarantino. The opening scene of Reservoir Dogs where they're all around the diner table talking about the meaning behind Madonna's "Like a Virgin" and tipping waitresses is one of my favorite scenes of all time.

Pi was full of interesting concepts more than anything, and I would say mostly consists of dialogue and drama.

'Phone Booth' is pretty much a thriller centred around a single long conversation.
