I had to buy another copy of Jethro Tull's "Thick as a Brick," cause some bastard stole mine, and it's too good an album to forget about it.

Bastard.

Nine Inch Nails - Downward Spiral Dualdisc reissue (5.1 DVD remaster is amazing).

System of a Down - whatever the new one is called

I'm also replacing my copy of toxicity since one of my lardassed friends sat on it.

NIN - With Teeth (Dualdisc, should be here in a week).

After a short hiatus I got another Queen album to add to my collection: the 1982 album Hot Space arrived in the mail today. I should also be getting The Game (1980) soon.

"Songs from the Wood" and "Heavy Horses," both by Jethro Tull, arrived this morning. I'm halfway through to owning their entire discography!

Last Tuesday I got: White Stripe - Get Behind Me Satan

On Friday I got: Coldplay - X&Y

Today I will get: Foo Fighters - In Your Honour

Then I don't think I will buy another CD for quite awhile (that's like 6 or 7 CDs in just one month).

EDIT: On an obsurvational note, I'm not too crazy about this new "DualDisk" system. There's a disclaimer on them that the CD side will not work on all players, and I don't like that. I would prefer a seperate DVD instead of a joint CD/DVD.

Didn't Y-O-U do the music on the Homestar CD?

Eh, the warning is overblown. I have two dualdisc albums, and it really depends what you're going to do with the CDs. From what I've gathered, most issues are with built-in Car CD players not taking them. That's because of the slight difference in the size/weight of them (at best guess anyway).

Even then, Dualdisc only has its benefits if the extras are actually good. The two Nine Inch Nails albums I have on Dualdisc are amazing because they have a 5.1 surround sound mix on the DVD side, making them completely worth it. When looking at other Dualdisc releases, they tend to only have things like interviews (who cares) and the music video for the pre-release single (who cares). Its one of those formats you have to be selective with, you know?

They won't put it on a separate disc for several reasons (trying to prevent piracy and expense for one).

I don't even think its a true "NEW FORMAT," but I like it better because unlike the competing SACD, I can just pop the disc into my 5.1 setup and listen to a cooler feature than just slightly higher audio quality. Plus SACD players are still overpriced.

I forgot about this topic, but I got The Game about a week ago. 5 Studio albums left (including the Flash Gordon soundtrack).
