If you didn't want to talk about Evanescense, then why in all the hells did you post a topic titled Evanescense? You don't post a topic with the title Evanescense and then say, "I LEIK TEH CHOCOLAET CANDEIS YUP YUP"

Exuse me but if I have said said anything mean or incriminating I oppoligise.You see my best friend(he came on a long time ago his name was Tommy the Tiger)decided to stop being my friend because he hates the fact that I have as he said other friends.Ever since I have cried myself to sleep because we were the BEST friends.So once again I am sorry.

1) Post a topic titled "Evanesence." In the GBA forum, no less.

2) Ask our opinions. Since this topic was titled "Evanesence," we assumed that you wanted our opinions of said band. We gave them to you accordingly.

They're alright. In terms of mainstream rock music, it's cool hearing something that sounds different from all the Nirvana clones and lame punk bands, but from what other people have told me Evanescence themselves are just a carbon copy of some European goth-rock groups (I haven't looked into these other bands yet so I can't really say for sure).

Their older music (from before they got signed to a major label) is probably more artistic than the songs off of Fallen, which are pretty simplistic and generic in terms of music. The exception is the piano parts, which is the main reason I like their music. IMO, not enough bands today realize how well piano and keyboards can work in rock music.

I don't like Evanescence much. "Bring Me to Life" was ok, but not particularly amazing.

I hadn't listened to Muse before, but I downloaded a few of their songs and they're pretty good. They've got more of a classical/rock sound instead of a goth rock sound, which I like.
