I've only heard "You Get What You Give," which isn't bad, so I wouldn't be the expert on them. Anyway, enjoy, discuss, and, as you should always do with anyone who's up here, check at least one of their songs out in Music-forum-spirit. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Quote of the week: "Of course I have played outdoor games. I once played dominoes in an open air cafe in Paris." - Oscar Wilde. Pointless fact of the week:Grapes explode when you put them in the microwave. Ah, the one-hit wonder that wasn't. (They had a second hit with "Someday We'll Know"; it just didn't do as well as "You Get What You Give") For those in the know, I think you'll agree with me that these guys were the best of the late-90s. Alexander is a stinkin' excellent writer, and the arrangements on that album are outstanding. (I'm going to ignore "Technicolor Lover" 'cause every album I've ever heard has a weak track.) For those out of the know, here's a site with lyrics & music & stuff. Also, the album is still on the shelf in most places. For L47, don't even say it. And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!" |

| VGF's Resident Lennonist | I remember that song... that song about kicking Courtney Love and Marylin Manson's asses... yeah, I remember that song. D'Angelo would make a grand artist of the week. |

New radicals were pretty damn good. They only had one album but it was a great listen and still is today. I don't think 'Technicolour lover' is a bad song but it probably is the low on the album. It's just not very low. My friends think that 'Maybe you've been brainwashed too' is their worst song but the acoustic guitar in it is too good IMO. Anyway, great band, shame they broke up. |

"Technicolor Lover", on the other hand, I liked quite a bit....until I really listened to it. And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!" |
