We ignore Rainbow and act like Black Sabbath only had one singer. Dio saved Black Sabbath in the early 80s. They had released two albums that they even admit were subpar and were slowly losing popularity. Than Dio came along gave them a new sound. They did quite well with they first two Dio albums too. Also the non-ozzy reunion with Dio in the early 90s produced Sabbath's most underated album EVER. Dehumanizer rules. I saw Dio open for Iron Maiden last summer and I most say he did an amazing job. Almost as good as Maiden, but not quite. |
