Eminem... is he an insane genius or has he really just lost it?

Okay, I'm not exactly an Eminem fan. Save for some of his early works (Slim Shady LP and earlier) I don't particularly enjoy his music, and find that he is by far the most overrated artist of any genre in music today. But when I heard his newest song, "Just Lose It," (I believe that's the title) I new he had sunk to new lows. Just listen to part of the chorus: "Oops, I mean girls/Girl girl girl/'Cause you know you rule my world." At first I thought he was attempting to be funny and revive the Slim Shady persona, but then an after thought occurred to me, "maybe he's trying to make people think he's insane so they'll buy his album."

Just some random thoughts...

Yea, agreed. he was never really that great, and now hes especially not that great.

The video is funny as hell, but I wouldn't buy any of his CD's, he's overrated because he was a GOOD white rapper when he came out, that made a lot of noise, Bubba Sparxxx has gone underground, and is kinda hyped down in Atlanta.
Lil' Wyte gets memphis credit, though I think he is sorry and VERY overrated

Well, I thought he did lose it until I just saw his video on 106 and Park. He had called in, and they were asking him about his song, he said:
"I could say it's about going to the club and letting yourself go, but in reality, it's about nothing."
Which is very true, because:
"dabadabadabadaba I have nothing to put here so fellas!
WHAT?
FELLAS!
YEAH!
Grab your left nut make your right one jealous!
HUH?"

I think that he just got EXTREMELY bored

Just heard that song before. It's pretty bad.

I think that Eminem was a pretty good rapper when he came out. Then he turned bad.

Lil Wyte= Horrible
Dru= Real Good, not Great
Bubba Sparxxx= Average
Eminem= Less Than Average after the MMLP.
Whyte Boi= Average, I've only heard one of his songs.
