Well, Roger Taylor (drums) and Brian May (guitar) have teamed up with Paul Rodgers (Free, Bad Company) and are going to tour through Europe in 2005. Spike Edney, who has been a backup keyboard player during other Queen concerts is now the main keyboard player. John Deacon, the original bass player of Queen has retired, and they haven't decided who will be the bass player for this tour. Anyway, they're playing in Rotterdam on the 26th of April, and I bought two tickets this morning (I'm going with my dad). I had to wait in the cold for about 80 minutes, but I think it will be worth it. |

I don't think Paul can take Freddie's place, but I'm sure he can put on a damn good show regardless. Speaking of reunions... if I'm lucky, I might be able to see CREAM live. |

I just think this is a great opportunity for generation who never had the chance to see Queen perform live. When I was waiting for my ticket I noticed that most others were relatively young. Apparantly the gig sold out in under 3 hours. I've even heard it sold out in 15 minutes, but there is no offical news on that. |

You guys with your legendary concerts.....and me stuck in the middle of stinking nowhere, where the best act we can get is Coconut Dave (I said best, not biggest. Yellowcard played here a few months ago, but Dave's better). And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!" |
