Ok, I'm bored, and this is gonna take some time off. If you don't want to post your entire collection, then just put up what you've been listening to recently. A lot of these are my parents', and some of them are downloaded. I wouldn't have been able to accumulate such a huge list at my age otherwise. Here it is:

Blues and general classic rock. This and progressive rock are my favorite genres.
Albert Collins & The Icebreakers - Live 1992-1993
The Allman Brothers Band - At Fillmore East [Deluxe Version]
B.B. King - Live at the Regal
Blues Traveler - Blues Traveler
The Blues Brothers - The Best of the Blues Brothers
The Beatles Revolver; Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band; The White Album; Abbey Road; Let It Be... Naked
John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers - Bluesbreakers; A Hard Road; Why Worry
Cream - Fresh Cream; Disraeli Gears; Wheels of Fire; Goodbye
Blind Faith - Blind Faith
Derek & The Dominos - Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs
Eric Clapton - From the Cradle; The Cream of Clapton; Unplugged; Slowhand; Riding with the King (featuring B.B. King)
Creedence Clearwater Revival - Their 25 Greatest Hits
Deep Purple - Made In Japan
George Harrison - Brainwashed
The Doors - L.A. Woman
J.J. Cale - The Very Best of J.J. Cale
Jefferson Airplane - Surrealistic Pillow
Jimi Hendrix - Are You Experienced?; Axis: Bold As Love; Electric Ladyland; Live at Woodstock; Band of Gypsies
Johnny Winter - Hey, Where's My Brother?
Led Zeppelin - I; II; III; IV; Houses of the Holy; Physical Graffiti
Muddy Waters - Rollin' Stone Volume 1
Paul McCartney - Ram; Band on the Run; Red Rose Speedway
Queen - Greatest Hits I & II
The Rolling Stones - Sticky Fingers; Beggar's Banquet
Santana - I; Abraxas; III
Lynyrd Skynyrd - The Essential Lynyrd Skynyrd
Steppenwolf - The Collection
Stevie Ray Vaughan - Texas Flood
Ten Years After - The Best of Ten Years After
The Who - My Generation - The Best of The Who
The Yardbirds - Blue Eyed Blues
Steve Miller Band - Greatest Hits
Booker T. & The MGs - Green Onions

Progressive Rock. Indulgent, self-absorbed prog rock is good for me.
Emerson, Lake & Palmer - Emerson, Lake & Palmer; Brain Salad Surgery; Trilogy; Tarkus
Genesis - Nursery Crime; Foxtrot; Selling England by the Pound; The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway
Gentle Giant - Octopus
Jethro Tull - This Was; Stand Up; Aqualung; Thick as a Brick
King Crimson - In the Court of the Crimson King; In the Wake of Poseidon; Larks' Tongues in Aspic; Starless and Bible Black; Red; The Power to Believe
Pink Floyd - The Piper at the Gates of Dawn; A Saucerful of Secrets; Atom Heart Mother; Meddle; Dark Side of the Moon; Wish You Were Here; Animals; The Wall
Steve Hackett - Voyage of the Acolyte; Spectral Mornings; Till We Have Faces; The Tokyo Tapes
Yes - The Yes Album; Fragile; Close to the Edge; Tales from Topographic Oceans; Relayer; Going for the One
The Mars Volta - De-Loused in the Comatorium; Frances the Mute (this also goes under Modern Rock)

Fusion and other jazzy stuff
Frank Zappa - Apostrophe ('); Hot Rats; One Size Fits All; Roxy and Elsewhere; Shut Up 'N Play Yer Guitar
Jeff Beck - Blow by Blow
Mahavishnu Orchestra - Between Nothingness and Eternity (live); Birds of Fire; The Inner Mounting Flame
Weather Report - 8:30
Pat Metheny Group - First Circle
Steely Dan - Can't Buy a Thrill; Pretzel Logic; Katy Lied; Countdown to Ecstasy; The Royal Scam; Aja; Gaucho
Chick Corea & Return to Forever - Where Have I Known You Before

80s Stuff. The decade that the music world would rather forget still had some good things going for it.
Dire Straits - Dire Straits; Brothers in Arms; Making Movies; Love Over Gold; On the Night
Michael Jackson - Thriller
The Police - Outlandos d'Amour; Regatta de Blanc; Zenyatta Mondatta; Ghost in the Machine; Synchonicity

Modern Rock. Yes! I actually do listen to modern stuff (barely)!
Guns N' Roses - Appetite for Destruction
Jane's Addiction - Nothing's Shocking; Ritual de lo Habitual; Strays
Liquid Tension Experiment - LTE I
Pearl Jam - Ten; Vs.; Yield; Riot Act
Rage Against the Machine - Rage Against the Machine; Renegades
Red Hot Chili Peppers - The Uplift Mofo Party Plan; Blood Sugar Sex Magik; One Hot Minute; Californication; By the Way
Soundgarden - A-Sides

Punk and Ska. I don't listen to this stuff as much as I used to. Some of it I still like, some of it I've completely gone off of.
Catch 22 - Keasbey Knights
The Specials - Too Much Too Young: The Best of The Specials
Flogging Molly - Drunken Lullabies; Swagger; Within a Mile of Home
Less Than Jake - Losing Streak; Hello Rockview; Borders & Boundaries; Anthem
Mad Caddies - Duck and Cover; The Holiday Has Been Cancelled; Just One More
The Mighty Mighty Bosstones - Devil's Night Out; More Noise & Other Disturbances; Let's Face It; Pay Attention; A Jackknife to a Swan
Reel Big Fish - Cheer Up!; Turn the Radio Off; Why Do They Rock So Hard?
Ska-P - El Vals del Obrero; Eurosis; Planeta Eskoria
Streetlight Manifesto - Everything Goes Numb
Sublime - 40 Oz. to Freedom; Sublime
The Offspring - Smash; Ixnay on the Hombre; Americana; Conspiracy of One; Splinter

Other
James Brown - The Godfather
Bob Marley & The Wailers - Legend
Mike Oldfield - Tubular Bells

Phew. That took a while.

Just ordered "Benefit" by Jethro Tull and "Frances the Mute" by The Mars Volta yesterday, so that's another addition.

Which songs are on 'the very best of Queen'. I think that's a US only CD. Europe only have Greatest Hits I, II and III.

The Very Best of Queen is a combonation of Greatest Hits I&II in a double CD package (in fact it has since been re-released under the title "Greatest Hits I&II)

This is what I have:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/...742953-5637400

It says "import" on Amazon, so it might be from the States, but I found it in a shop in an airport somewhere in Europe (I forget where exactly), so I dunno.

I would have bought the Platinum Collection (that's Greatest Hits I, II, & III), but I honestly couldn't be bothered with the third disk. I mean, who would want to miss such a monumental song as "Barcelona?"

What's wrong with Barcelona? I think it's a great song. It's not a Queen song, though, and that's the problem with GHIII. They had some proper hits they could've put on there (e.g. Scandal, A Winter's Tale), but they decided to go with these collaborations (Queen + George Michael, Queen + Wyclef Jean) and even solo stuff.

I do have the platinum collection, but I still think they could've done something better with GHIII. Fortunately the DVD Greatest Video Hits III will be better, because they left the Innuendo songs (Innuendo, Headlong, I'm Going Slightly Mad and The Show Must Go On) off GVHII.
