I've been playing clarinet for 5 years, guitar for 3, harmonica for about 3 months, and I've just started on tenor sax. I also dabble with the piano whenever I have access to one. |

Doesnt bother me that much though cos I can play most stuff and can bust a pretty decent solo when the oppertunity arises. I wouldnt mind being able to thrash out a super fast solo though, but Im not gonna sit and do scales for five hours every day just for that. |

I've discovered that I need an electric guitar, though. Playing metal just doesn't sound good on an acoustic. |

Let's see... *counts on her fingers* Ah, for almost 7 years. I'd say I'm pretty decent, but I'm nowhere near the skill level I want to be at. But, I did just got my first private lesson teacher ever three weeks ago, so hopefully I'll be getting a bit closer. =) And if I could, I'd play almost anything I could get my hands on. I just don't know how. ^_^;; |

I kind of have a split personality. On guitar I can jam really well but am a pretty mediocre music reader (although I actually can read music, unlike so many guitarists), and on clarinet I'm an excellent music reader but have no concept of improvisation. I'm gonna spend a lot of time working on music this summer. | |
