I just saw Orgy last night. A few local bands opened, and Project 44 played as well.

Last semester:

The One 10 Band. (a bunch of musicians from an off-campus student hangout, pretty good)
Happy***. (a local band from the town where my school is, pretty cruddy)

Last summer:

Barenaked Ladies. (excellent beyond words)
Alanis Morissette. (same night as BNL; they were touring together, very good)
Their opening guy. (decent)

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

The last band I payed for too see live were Queen + Paul Rodgers, but I was at a party the other week, where a Dutch band called IsOokSchitterend performed.
