Well, there's so much to say about Queen that I just won't say much. I'll just make a long as hell list of their good songs.

-Bohemian Rhapsody
-We will Rock you/We are the Champions
-Another One Bites the Dust
-Bicycle Race
-You're my Best Friend
-Crazy Little Thing Called Love
-Fat Bottomed Girls
-Somebody to Love
-Killer Queen

You know what really sucked? Queen was on tour with the lead singer from Bad Company, and they came to New York just as I was leaving for St. Louis and college. I'm so upset I missed them. -CSM

They're actually doing a full US tour at the moment (as Queen + Paul Rodgers), starting March 3rd. Check out www.queenpluspaulrodgers.com

Those songs you mentioned are all on Greatest Hits I. I agree that many of their best songs are on there, but I also think there are some great songs on GHII like Under Pressure, I Want To Break Free, Innuendo, The Show Must Go On and many more. Not to mention they have a lot of incredible non-hit songs.

Wahington University.

Anyway, their St. Louis date better be before May 11, and their New York date better be after. -CSM

Looks like you're screwed with New York, CSM.

I'm not, I have tickets to the Minnesota one! Woo!

Koga, about your comment about ticket prices here. The prices are generally high. My ticket is probably around, I dunno, $30 or $40? It was one of the cheapest. The front floor tickets go for about up to $200, according to Ticket Master. I suppose since this is the Euro band, they may as well.

Still wanting to buy the Platinum Hits, although my mom may not let me. ;_;

Money. I only have one job and I get in about fifteen hours a month. That's about $140. Maybe this next month's paycheck can convince her.

I almost applied to Wash U, but I had already been accepted into 2 other schools and didn't want to waste money on the application fee.

What's your school? Or do you live in the St. Louis area? West County? SoCo? Chesterfield? Where? -CSM

I still think that's ridiculously expensive for standing tickets. People who are able to pay that much, usually don't want to get that close to the stage, and the young people that do want to get as close as possible usually can't afford it.

^^I go to Truman, and when I'm not trapped here, I live in St. Louis.

^Prices depend a lot on the artist & venue; I went to a White Stripes show last summer where front row was something around $70.

I know, but I don't think the drummer and guitarist of Queen and the singer of Free/Bad Company can charge as much as U2 or The Rolling Stones. Also the prices are very steep compared to the European Q+PR tour. I paid about 50-60 euros for standing tickets, which equals front row if you're willing to wait for it. I got row 10-ish.

When I was on residential retreat last year these guys were my lifeblood. One of the best British bands ever. My grandmother loves Freddie Mercury, has most of his and Queen's albums and 20 year old videos that don't really work anymore otherwise I'd watch them.

Say, what are the souviners they typically have on sale at the concerts, anyway? If I can grab something, yay.

I didn't really look at any merchandise. I know they have tour programmes and a lot of T-shirts.

A conversation last night with Dylan told me to steal Brian May if there wasn't much.

Okay, nevermind about Deacon. It turns out that Wembley's bonus disc has some interviews with Queen/Elton John/Whatever freaks there are after Wembley, and Deacon is actually near the beginning (If I remember, he's the first Queen member shown).

And about Deacon singing. It turns out that he actually has done more than the BBC Radio stuff. I knew I heard a different voice during In the Lap of the Gods... Revisited, and Wiki even says that Deacon did do some back-up.

Wiki is incorrect on Queen a couple of times. Deacon never sang on any studio albums. It's unclear whether his microphone was on or off during concerts, but I think he did sing along with some of the choruses.
