Do you play any instruments? I've played the clarinet for 7 years now, and I like band and teaching other clarinet players so much that I want to go into music education in college. I'm also interested in composing/arranging, and I've composed a few songs of my own (and arranged some video game themes), although because of school these days I hardly have any time to compose anymore...*shakes fist at AP Chem and AP Lit* So yeah...any of you play an instrument, and are you planning on making music a career in the future? |

Voice, drums, percussion, & Jew's harp. I've also considered a couple others. Why, yes, I do plan on my career somehow involving music. It's still in my room and I get it out from time to time, but I just lost interest. Back when I had to pick my instrument I wanted something that was a little unusal, but in hindsight I would have rather picked something more conventional like guitar or piano. Oh, and I really wanted to play the drums, but my parents wouldn't let me. |

I don't plan to make a career out of music, I just play for fun. Oh yeah, and I can sing while playing guitar, and ONLY while playing guitar. I get good reviews, heh. Although I get REALLY good reviews from my saxophone. That got me into a band for awhile, heh. -CSM |
