I must admit I hadn't heard of Journey until there was a song by them in a recent Family Guy episode, and even then I didn't recognise it (I didn't even know whether Journey was the song or the artists).

I looked at last years top 2000 voted for by the Dutch audience and Journey didn't appear once (to compare: the Beatles had 45 entries, Queen had 24, Supertramp had 8). It seems like Journey never really made it over here.

If you don't like it complain to L007; it was his suggestion :P

Yay for Journey! Tons of great songs by these guys! And they came to NYC exactly two days after I left for St. Louis! That really pissed me off! And I put a lot of exclamation points in this post!

Yes, complain to me. I'm such a jerk for liking Journey.

I would think Journey is more American than British-known. The Escape tour in Houston was loaded with screaming fangirls (God, I hate all of that screaming when Perry says something about Houston in the CD. >_<). Still, the classics such as Wheel in the Sky, Who's Cryin' Now (Or whatever it is, I forgot), and of course, Don't Stop Believin' are awesome.

And I still can't believe there apparently is a movie or something about how Steve Perry fights off zombies and dukes it out with their master, Freddie Mercury. o_o

Contray to popular belief, I'm not British. But I guess you meant European when you said British.

British, European, they're the same.

Journey has the power both for great good ("Don't Stop Believin'") or great evil ("Lovin', Touchin', Squeezin'").

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Journey was one of the best bands of its time. But I'm not a big fan of them. Of Course they had some good stuff. But nothing that interests me
