| Veteran Member Join Date: Sep 2000 Location: The Netherlands Gender: Posts: 17,093 Thanks: 104 Thanked 173 Times in 116 Posts | I must admit I hadn't heard of Journey until there was a song by them in a recent Family Guy episode, and even then I didn't recognise it (I didn't even know whether Journey was the song or the artists). I looked at last years top 2000 voted for by the Dutch audience and Journey didn't appear once (to compare: the Beatles had 45 entries, Queen had 24, Supertramp had 8). It seems like Journey never really made it over here. If you don't like it complain to L007; it was his suggestion :P |

I'm such a jerk for liking Journey. ![]() I would think Journey is more American than British-known. The Escape tour in Houston was loaded with screaming fangirls (God, I hate all of that screaming when Perry says something about Houston in the CD. >_<). Still, the classics such as Wheel in the Sky, Who's Cryin' Now (Or whatever it is, I forgot), and of course, Don't Stop Believin' are awesome. And I still can't believe there apparently is a movie or something about how Steve Perry fights off zombies and dukes it out with their master, Freddie Mercury. o_o __________________ Can I has signature? |
