Forget the charges of sexual abuse, forget the cosmetic surgery, forget how he dangled his child from a balcony, forget his generally crazy lifestyle: this man is one of the most brilliant singers, songwriters and entertainers in pop history. My big brother was a big fan of his as a kid, and so I got to listen to his songs a lot as well. I particularly love his first 3 albums after his Jackson Five period, Off the Wall, Thriller and Bad. He lost it a little when he went all ‘Heal the World’, but there are still some very nice songs on his later albums.

Michael Jackson is, without a doubt, the most poignant voice in songwriting since John Lennon.

"Shimow" indeed.

Hmmmm, I don't know what to say about this one. He's Michael Jackson. We all know what he does. I prefer the "Jackson Five" myself, heh. -CSM

As a music artist, MJ has some brilliant music. I like a lot from Thriller particularly!! Bah... now I guess I'll have to find the CD and play something to quell the song in my head.

I remember listening to Thriller all the time when I was 4. Good stuff.

I remember all the news about him from recent memory. Bad stuff.

I haven't seen any haters; some only commented they didn't like the person Michael Jackson.

I must admit I don't really like him either. I don't think he's a pedophile, though. I think he's just messed up from his lack of youth (he's been performing since he was 5 or something), and as a result is still somewhat of a child himself.

I don't much care for his new stuff. In the 80s, though, he was one of the few good music acts around.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Micheal Jackson is up there with Mr. T, David Hasselhoff, and Chuck Norris. That's how great he is.

MJ is just down right strange, and he only gets stranger. He's written a lot of good music as the result of his messed up life, I think. I don't listen to him myself, but if I had to choose an album, it would definitely be Thriller.
