I watched the DVD of his first farewell tour yesterday, and it made me realise how many nice song this man has sung (and most of them written), like In The Air Tonight, Something Happened On The Way To Heaven, You Can't Hurry Love, Two Hearts, Another Day In Paradise, Take Me Home, Sussudio, Easy Lover and more.

I know it's kind of uncool to like Phil Collins, but I really do. I think he's a great singer and a very good drummer as well.

BTW, this topic is just for his solo work: I will feature Genesis another time.

Yeah, Phil Collins has this uncool only-for-old-people sort of vibe (re: Duran Duran). But, as you said, he made some good songs.
