Lynard Skynard

Lynard Skynard is playing from my house like not even one mile away. And you can listen to them in my backyard! I just heard them play "Sweet Home Alabama"!

That's pretty sweet right there.

Sweet Home Alabama is the only song I know by this band. I like it, though.

BTW, I thought it was Lynyrd Skynyrd. A pretty cruel word for hangman if you ask me.

^It is, but I didn't feel like correcting him.

I at first thought their was "Leonard Skinner," and in fact, there was such a person, and Skynyrd's name was based on this man. He was their old gym teacher. The "Y's" are references to the Byrds. -CSM

I didn't know the Y's were references to the Byrds, but I knew it came from Leonard Skinnerd. Their first album is called: Pronounced Leh-Nerd Skin-Nerd
