Nope. I never cared much for the Beatles--I find them to be overrated.

Severely over-rated.

*insert thumbs down to the previous posts*

Beatles are arguably one of the most influencial bands of the 20th century, and they made some of the best music of that century. Kind of funny when you can go to any city in the world, hum a tune like "yesterday" and have people join in.

^Lurch, for the first time I agree with you. Beatles are definately one of the most influential bands ever, and they name another band that beat communism?

I'm not denying the fact that they're influential, because they were. Hell, that's a severe understatement. But just because they're influential doesn't mean I have to like them.

Whoever made the "best music of the century" is completely subjective.

... What does communism have to do with anything?

Kind of funny and ironic since John Lennon was at best friendly to communist ideas and at worst a full blown communist.

You don't know how lucky you are, boy. Back in the USSR.

The reason they were so influential is that they were so good.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"
