| Guest | So does anyone play/like music and rhythm video games? Most of them are made by Konami, like DDR, Beatmania, Guitar Freaks, and DrumMania, but other companies have made games too, like Samba de Amigo, Pump it Up, Frequency/Amplitude, and the upcoming Donkey Konga. Who likes them, and what do you think of the music in them? |

| Guest | I love DDR as well as Beatmania and Pop 'n' Music. I currently have all the american mixes for DDR including 3rd, 4th, and 5th mixes. (Jap) I also love DWI (dancing with intensity) and StepMania, 2 great DDR simulation programs for the comp. I went out and bought the USB converter to play all my original StepMania and DWI songs. I've played quite a bit of Beatmania IIDX, but unfortunately I still do not own it. So.. er yeah, I guess you could say I love rhythm based vg's. ![]() [ November 28, 2003, 02:19 PM: Message edited by: Katsuchiyo ] |

| Guest | ^ Unless you're talking about the music compositioning feature in the game, you're way off. ^^ You have Stepmania too? Cool. I also have the USB adapter, and I've made steps for several of my favorite non-DDR songs too. [ November 28, 2003, 03:57 PM: Message edited by: Penguin Man ] |

For me, video game music sticks to video game music. There are some cool tracks every now and then, but I wouldn't go and buy CDs of video game music. I rarely ever play DDR, and when I do it's at an arcade with other people. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Quote of the week: "If it weren't for electricity we'd all be watching television by candlelight."- George Gobol.
