Revision. Plus I added some to the list. Some of them I've been listening to since before my other list and just neglected, and others I just got into recently.

1) Metallica (-)
2) Dream Theater (-)
3) Megadeth (-)
4) Symphony X (^4)
5) Marty Friedman (-)
6) Threshold (^1)
7) Pagan's Mind (^2)
8) DragonForce (v4)
9) Adagio (v3)
10) Firewind (New)
11) Derek Sherinian (New)
12) Kamelot (New)
13) Kansas (New)
14) Liquid tension Experiment (v4)
15) Spock's Beard (New)
16) Disturbed (New)
17) Avenged Sevenfold (New)
18) Testament (New)
19) System of a Down (New)
20) Rhapsody (New)

If I'm going to recommend any CD's to anybody right now, it's gonna be "Systematic Chaos" by Dream Theater and "Paradise Lost" by Symphony X.

You're welcome. To be fair, I nearly forgot to put them on my list as well. If you like Rammstein, try to find some newer stuff by Oomph!, they're another german industrial metal group that have some similarities. I'd suggest a song like "Rette Mich" as one of their best, or for that Rammstein vibe, maybe "Augen Auf".

The lack of Slayer in this topic disturbs me.

^ Pesh. Metal's never been my thing. It just... doesn't affect me. Closest I get is Bad Brains, but they're really more reggae/punk.

I don't remember what was on my original list, and I don't feel like clicking over the first page to look at it, but the Buzzcocks have officially earned a spot on it. Somewhere.

Saw slayer live this past week, Lurch. They were pretty cool, not really my style. Put on a great show, though.

My turn? Really? Ok. No real order here.:

Metalica. (Master of Puppets is awesome.)
Slayer. (Catatonic is also awesome)
Dragonforce. ( So is Through The Fire and Flames.)
Anthrax. (So is Armed and Dangerous)
Disturbed. (So is land of confusion... You get the point)
Maximum the Horomone.
Tenacious D.
Asain kung fu genration.
Kreator.
Voivod.
Killswitch Engage.
System of a Down.
Motorhead.

There's alot more, but, I just woke up. So I'm somewhat slow. XP
