Embarrassing bands?

Well, we all have our guilty pleasures. Often music-wise. So, here's where you come out and admit to liking a band or artist you normally wouldn't mention. I have a few, well...

1. Metallica. As in...Load-through-Reload. I'll admit liking Master of Puppets to anyone.

2. My Chemical Romance. Well, I just hear them bashed enough at school that I usually don't bring them up.

3. Evanescence. Only because so many people hate them. I actually shouldn't have listed this, because I am an open Ev fan. They happen to be tied with Nightwish for first place in my book.

Wow, nothing else is coming to mind. I know for a fact that I have more.

But I guess I'll make Justin Timberlake my last addition.

I don't have any that I hide. If somebody makes fun of me for my music tastes just because I have one artist that they don't like, I say "**** you."

No Doubt was my favorite band for a very long time (till Streetlight Manifesto came around).

I'm not really ashamed about liking any band, Good Charlotte (who I used to HATE) would be the closest thing for me, it's fun when their old singles come on the radio at work and the "The River" is a pretty solid song with some meaningful lyrics.

Hmm, guilty pleasures... I suppose I will go ahead and admit there is some AFI I like. I also enjoy a couple of Killswitch Engage songs, but since nobody's heard of them, I have no idea why I'd hide liking their non-screamo songs.

I like this one song, can't remember who it was from... N-Sync or Backstreet Boys... but it goes like this: "BOW-NOW-NOW-NOW-NOW-NOW-NOW, BOW-NOW-NOW-NOW-NOW-NOW-NOW, WE'VE GOT IT GOING IN OUR PANTS!" or something like that. I completely made up the last bit.

I listened to it when I was little. It has memories.

How about parts of bands? Because Davy Jones is embarrassing, but Mike, Micky, & Peter totally rock.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

^^I love the Monkees, but as I pointed out, only 1/4 of them are embarrassing.

I like Queen, and apperently at my school if you like Queen, you suck and need to listen to better music, which annoys me beyond my limits.

The first CD I ever owned was the Spice Girls.
It's long-gone now, but still...
