Radiohead - House of Cards
Weezer - Pork and Beans

In conclusion: I would've liked to see more for Another Way to Die than music video. Radiohead, as much as I want them to win everything, has no categories in the bag for them except for Best Alternative Album, and has a very low chance of taking Album of the Year. I would've liked to see more T.I. in the rap category than "Swagga Like Us." Also, how does M.I.A. get away with only one nomination? She could've made dance categories AND hip-hop categories, but only record of the year? Shame.

These are just my personal opinions. I'm predicting Coldplay to win all of the rock/pop categories and Lil Wayne taking all the hip-hop categories. Album of the year will go to either one.

1. The Grammies are a joke.
2. No Kala for best album?
3. The Grammies are a joke.

"Roc Boys" should win best rap song and American Gangster best rap album. For the most part, I agree with you. Also, "Royal Flush" for best Rap Duo/Group Performance.

Ew... OneRepublic is terrible.

Not that I take the Grammys seriously, but I am pulling for Lupe. Here's to hoping he builds off the grammy win for "Daydreamin"

Let me make one thing perfectly clear: Duffy does not matter. Not one little bit.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Wow...American Gangster guys? Seriously?

I'll cry if Nas or Lupe wins Album of the year. Pulling for a few Lupe grammy's.

I'll have to agree with Brandon. I felt kind of underwhelmed by American Gangster, to be honest.

Good tears or bad tears, Brandon?

Where the "Britney Spears comes out of nowhere and wins all the awards like she bribed everyone" choice?

Kala definitely should've gotten more nominations. American Gangster was a good album, but Paper Trail and The Cool are better, IMO.

Good. Lupe needs to win a few grammy's..and I'd cry for Nas just because I never see him win awards and he's always deserving of them..less this time but still.

Royal Flush is nominated? Seriously? I'm extremely happy about that. I didn't think it gained much attention outside of serious hip-hop heads/outKast fans.

I haven't heard many of the things nominated here, especially the hi-hop ones-- but I'm hoping for Radiohead. And it would be badass if the Mars Volta won. If I see the Jonas Brothers win I will just stand up and flip off my television for a while.

Yea, I was surprised about it too, grammy nominations always seem so random to me. But yea, I'm hoping it wins its category.

The Grammys are a waste of time pageant where overpaid artists that have to be told in advance that they won so that they'll show up are awarded not based on their artistic integrity, but on how generic they can be to have any modicum of success on top 40 radio.

That being said, I hope Sex on Fire wins Best Rock Performance.

I was inclined to believe that until Royal Flush got nominated, that is far from today's mainstream hiphop.

As a matter of fact, it ****s on it.

The Grammys are, and have always been, a complete and utter joke. The Oscars might be condescendingly American, but at least they generally choose decent nominees for the most part.

Right you are, Bomby. Katy Perry doesn't deserve to eat with her overproduced **** lyrics garbage, much less get nominated for awards.

Also, "American Boy" deserves that Rap/Sung collaboration award. I finally realized that's the song I keep hearing that I like a lot.

The Oscars are worse. Almost every year, the winner of Best Picture seems to be a love story, an inspiration story, or a combination of both. The only exception I can think of is Gladiator. And there seems to be NO love at all for comedies, despite the theory that comedy is one of the hardest things to act. -CSM
